Today is a very busy day. I have had two portrait sessions. One in Raleigh and one at Duke Gardens. I am only home for a quick change and card dump before I head out to shoot the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival party. I could not resist looking at my shots so far. This is one of my favorites. I took it right as we were leaving.
Here are a few more photos of my very beautiful and yes, very pregnant, cousin's wedding. Ben (my new cousin in-law) made Mimi cry when he said the vowes he wrote. He is a good egg and I for one am happy to have him in the family.
Last weekend was my cousin, Mimi's wedding. It is even more fun to shoot a wedding when you love the people getting married. Mimi was married at my other cousin's (her sister, Steph) house. Sheph lives in this very cool old barn in Kent, CT. There are wonderful little finds all over the property. I had a hard time picking where to photograph the wedding rings.
A few months back I donated a portrait session to a silent auction at Duke. The proceeds go to help provide medication to people in poor rural communities. It is a great charity and one I highly recommend supporting. The people who one the auction was this adorable couple. They were so sweet and clearly very much in love. They met at Duke (both residents), so we thought it would be appropriate if we took photos around Duke and Duke Gardens.
