King's is another amazing find in Durham and the 3rd place on my top 100 favorite things in Durham.  They have great sausages and the people are incredibly friendly.

This next place is only open on Saturdays, but they are well worth the wait.  They have the best cupcakes in the triangle possibly even the world.  Of course I am talking about Daisy Cakes.  Daisy Cakes is the creation of Tanya Catolos, the pastry chef at the Washington Duke Inn.  There are other options available from the vintage Air Stream (Sugar), including Pop’t-Arts, a little flaky pastry filled with home-made preserves.  I had apricot today and it was wonderful.  They also cater which is a great idea for a wedding or a birthday party.  Please do yourself a favor and check them out next Saturday on the corner of Foster and Geer.
