Last weekend I had one of the cutest couples ever do an engagment session with me.  We had fun walking around Duke Gardens and talking about how they met.  Look at how cute and in love they are.

A friend of mine decided to start a website that honors the gritty side of Durham.  It is call Dirty Durham.  I personally love a town with an edge to it.  I think all of the great ones do.  Just think about it; Paris, London, Savannah, New York, Chicago, and New Orleans are all great and gritty.  Durham is doing its best to keep up with its root.  It even has very cool signs.  Here is one for the Whiskey Bar down town.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of shooting the Rolex 24 hour race.  It was a great deal of fun.  It was like Burning Man but with cars.  Two different races are going on simultaneously which makes it even more interesting.  I tried photographing the cars two different ways.  Which one do you prefer?  I think I like the top one where the car is in focus because I followed the car while taking the photo (note the background is a bit blurry) The bottom one, I dragged the shutter and the background is clear.

Last Saturday was the Carolina Fitness Challange.  It was amazing and I have a ton of photo-editing to do.  So many fit people in one place.  I was really inspired by all of these athletes and I will attempt to be better about all of my own workouts.
